After reading reviews for many coffee machine decalcifiers I was concerned that using any product might ruin the machine. Knowing that the machine might be ruined if I don’t do something, I chose this product as it had the best reviews (though not all great). Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised at both how easy it was to use and how good the coffee tasted afterwards. I didn’t realize the mineral build-up inside the machine had such an impact on the taste of the coffee. Bottom line – I’ll use this product from now on without worry.

Durgol Swiss Espresso is a special decalcifier for quality espresso machines of all brands, including fully automatic machines, semi-automatic machines, manual machines as well as traditional drip coffee makers and pod coffee makers. Electric water kettles and tea kettles can also be decalcified with Durgol Swiss Espresso.
Our office has a hot water boiler which boils about 6 gallons of water per day for drinking. After about 7 months of use and no real upkeep, the inside of the water boiler was crusted over with calcification and was shelved since bits of the calcification were dropping off into the water. Another office mate tried to clean the inside with another cleaner and it barely scratched the surface.
One use of this following all the instructions and the water boiler was ready for use again – everything looked as shiny and new as the day we first purchased it. We now maintain the boiler with regular vinegar rinses, but will probably do this once a year to really get everything shiny again. As an added bonus, as we were rinsing into the sink, the sink and tools we were using polished up nicely as well!

Just enough liquid in bottle for two (2) cleanings of your coffee maker. Does a good job in decalifying but it is expensive!

I have a Sunbeam steam iron that is not steaming properly. I had tried vinegar without avail, then read that this product would help. It did no good. Perhaps this product is not intended to help with steam irons but only with coffee pots, etc. Or perhaps I used it incorrectly.

Honestly, almost unreal the way this solution cleans coffee makers. Vinegar will never be used again here, no comparison, HIGHLY-HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS, extends the life of my iron, coffee maker etc. by a huge amount. Unreal.
