Aerolatte Milk Frother

I purchased this item 2 years ago. It still works great and my husband loves it!

Just a tip, it works best with hot milk, you get a better froth than with cold milk.

A great item to have to froth milk to add to coffee or milk in your hot cocoa or just mix protein drinks.

Starbucks, take that! – Stephanie R. Van Winkle – Lynnwood, WA
I love my milk frother-now I can make a cappuchino for myself every morning! It makes great foam but it is also a great little immersion blender when making a small batch of salad dressing!

Aerolatte Milk Frother – Quicken User – U.S.A.
We purchased this little wonder about a month ago. It produces froth that is far superior to any expresso machine steamer we’ve ever owned! No problems so far except we seem to go thru a lot of batteries.

Aerolatte To Go, Milk Frother, Black

I’ve never tried to froth my own milk before and after watching a friend use hers, I was almost doubtful that it would work, as her milk did not froth that much. Gotta tell you, this little gadget is great. It frothed my milk so well it reminded me of the stiff peaks from a really good egg white beat. A 1/3 cup of milk nearly overflowed a 16oz coffee mug. And boy did it last. I had leftovers and when I came back a few hours later it had barely fallen. The carrying case is primo. I can’t wait to take it to my in-laws and use it up there. Thanks to Amazon for the quick replacement when the first case received damage during shipment.

Okay foam, not as good as french press – J. Dawson –
After a few weeks of use I finally got this to make half-decent foam. Usually I use a french press, which produces an outstanding foam–super thick and lots of it, but they tend to wear out quickly if you use them that way. The aerolatte milk frother seems like it will last longer, but only time will tell. I’ll probably go back to a french press eventually.

Product very much worth the cost. Does everything it claims. Batteries died quickly, but new set and is working great again.

Aerolatte Stainless-Steel Deluxe Edition Frother with Stand, Chrome

Whip up an easy after-dinner cappuccino for guests with this steam-free frother with stand from Aerolatte. The frother foams skim, whole, and soy milk alike for fluffy hot café lattes or cold chocolate malts in seconds. (Frothing water-based powdered milk is not recommended.)

The frother features a sleek chrome body with a slender 18/8 stainless-steel whisk, designed for optimum foaming efficiency, and is compact for easy travel. Two installed AA batteries power the whisk as it froths milk up to 60 degrees C. For best results, turn on the frother with whisk placed near the base of the mug and slowly raise and lower the unit as foam develops. Foam forms in only 15 to 20 seconds. To avoid splatters, turn the frother off before removing from the beverage. The included chrome stand holds the frother secure while protecting the whisk wand with a sturdy, circular base and two sets of arms that fit snug around the frother body.

To clean the frother, run the whisk in hot soapy water and rinse. Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the frother in water or place in the dishwasher. Aerolatte offers a five-year guarantee against defective parts or craftsmanship for this product. The frother measures 8-3/4 inches long, and weighs 1 pound upon shipping. –Jessica Reuling

So here’s my method. Prep my 6-cup Bialetti and place on stove, turn on burner and wait one minute. During that minute part fill two (nice) mugs with 1% from the fridge and pop them in the 1500w microwave. Zap for two-minutes. The milk will then be piping hot but not boiling.

Then – and this really does make a difference – take the back of a small spoon and remove the skin that forms. The coffee should be about ready now – so take it off the heat. Now – wuzz with the aerolatte wand working from the bottom of the mug till you reach perfection. Maybe 30 seconds. Then pour the coffee into the center of the foam. Dust with chocolate and cinnamon.

All up – about 4 minutes for two mugs.

this frother is tricky and usually makes a big old mess with any false move…not what i thought it would be!

Best Hot Chocolate & Coffee Stirrer – Brian Gimlet – NJ, USA
I bought this about 1 month ago I use it all day every day to stir my drinks, it is probably the best kitchen gadget I have ever bought. After I use it I just run it under the tap and its clean. I am so glad I got the stainless steel version it is very durable, feels good in your hand and the stand is perfect. I bought this to especially to stir instant powder drinks like coffee, hot chocolate & ice tea I never really tried to froth milk with it. It is pretty powerful and if your not careful the whirlpool it creates will overflow your drink like a blender without a lid. I would recommend it to a friend and will probably buy a few more for Christmas gifts.

Better than steam – Marly – PA
I have a cappuccino maker and the steamed milk is great, but this tool offers an easier and foolproof method of micro-foam that lasts, even if you set your drink aside for a time. And no nozzles to clean! Just run under water right after using, spin it off, done. Only trick is to not have the skim milk too hot or it won’t froth well. You can control the type of foam you like – looser – or stiff as beaten egg whites. The little blade type frothers are useless compared to this design. Fabulous little tool.

Wow, too bad Starbucks – D. Owen – Michigan
Oh my goodness, this is just what I needed to help my Starbucks fix. I no longer need to go there for a latte….Wow, didn’t know it was this easy. If you love latte’s you will love this item. After heating my milk in the microwave for 1 minute I froth with a little splenda and vanilla then add my coffee and froth again just a second. It is wonderful.

I got this little frother to whip up some quick foamy milk for the coffee I make with my little Bialetti.
This little bugger has WAY more power than my last little frother. To the point where I have had some real fun cleaning up flying milk spatters in my kitchen. Power? Yep! There is a bit of a learning curve in trying to control this power (use VERY short bursts of power as you figure out how to make YOUR perfect milk). I micro the milk for 30 seconds and then froth away. Note that some milks simply don’t froth as well as others (perhaps differences in homogenization/pasturization?)
Is it as good as the milk steamed with my very nice espresso machine or at your local coffee shop? Nope, not a chance. Is it a whole lot faster, easier and cheaper? Yep.

Love it! – A. Knapp – Indianapolis, IN
I’m seriously wondering why I didn’t discover this little marvel sooner. Makes even skim milk froth very quickly. I add a touch of sugar or caramel syrup to the milk before frothing and it’s awesome! For those who think it’s not as good as the coffee shop frothed milk I disagree. It really depends on what you use. If I use half and half the froth is much richer and thicker. The fact that it doesn’t cost me for a cappuccino makes it a much sweeter deal :)

Fabulous Frother – S. Lueck – Kenosha, WI
Aerolatte Mooo, Milk Frother, with Case
A delightful invention. Froths milk easy and almost as good as you get in a coffee shop. It is easy to do. I think anyone who likes Froth for coffee or tea – this is a great choice. It really has a lot of power.

Broke after a few times – L. Williams – Carmichael, CA
When I first got this, I loved it. I put it in our camping trailer and it was used only infrequently, probably only about 10 times. When I turned it on to use it recently, it worked for about 10 sec. and then the stem fell out of the base unit. Of course it is over 30 days since I bought it and nonreturnable. I am very disappointed. When it worked it was great.

Does the job – R. Trescastro –
It works very well for frothing milk for cappuccinos and lattes. The kids enjoy using it for blending drink powders in their beverages. The Aerolatte is easily to clean and store in a drawer too. For the price you can have a couple on hand. I also like that the batteries last a long time especially for how often we use it. I would recommend this product for those that do not have counter space for a cappuccino machine and for those who have kids that enjoy well blended chocolate milk!

The simple way to make frothed milk for that perfect fresh CAPPUCCINO, MILKSHAKE OR HOT CHOCOLATE, every time… The Original steam free milk frother. Includes 2 x AA alkaline batteries

I bought this over a year ago and it is still ticking!
I love this tool, it makes you feel “fancy” at home. I will say this for true coffee heads this may be a disappointment since the foam it creates isn’t as dense as when you use steam but for regular folks this is perfect. You can make whipped milk or true foam if you are patient enough. It works well on milk and soy milk but struggles with almond milk. I also use this to make Greek Frappes! It is a keeper.

Sweet – Daniel Halverson – Clearwater, Fl
I want to make homemade espresso-based coffee drinks at home and I didn’t want to buy an expensive steaming wand–and this works great!
As a tip (for those of you frothing milk for cappuccino/latte/machiatto/etc.) use a cooking thermometer to find out how long in the microwave will get your milk to 150 degrees (but not more then 150!) because that is a very good temperature to froth milk at!

Wonderful gadget!! – Amy – KY United States
This is a wonderful kitchen gadget!! I use to mix hot chocolate now and it creates a fantastic foam!

FABULOUS – J. Stevenson – Brooklyn NY
This is a wonderful product. It’s little battery-powered motor froths milk much better than the steam-driven types. And in a very much smaller package.
Highly, highly recommend.
