Whip up an easy after-dinner cappuccino for guests with this steam-free frother with stand from Aerolatte. The frother foams skim, whole, and soy milk alike for fluffy hot café lattes or cold chocolate malts in seconds. (Frothing water-based powdered milk is not recommended.)
The frother features a sleek chrome body with a slender 18/8 stainless-steel whisk, designed for optimum foaming efficiency, and is compact for easy travel. Two installed AA batteries power the whisk as it froths milk up to 60 degrees C. For best results, turn on the frother with whisk placed near the base of the mug and slowly raise and lower the unit as foam develops. Foam forms in only 15 to 20 seconds. To avoid splatters, turn the frother off before removing from the beverage. The included chrome stand holds the frother secure while protecting the whisk wand with a sturdy, circular base and two sets of arms that fit snug around the frother body.
To clean the frother, run the whisk in hot soapy water and rinse. Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the frother in water or place in the dishwasher. Aerolatte offers a five-year guarantee against defective parts or craftsmanship for this product. The frother measures 8-3/4 inches long, and weighs 1 pound upon shipping. –Jessica Reuling

So here’s my method. Prep my 6-cup Bialetti and place on stove, turn on burner and wait one minute. During that minute part fill two (nice) mugs with 1% from the fridge and pop them in the 1500w microwave. Zap for two-minutes. The milk will then be piping hot but not boiling.
Then – and this really does make a difference – take the back of a small spoon and remove the skin that forms. The coffee should be about ready now – so take it off the heat. Now – wuzz with the aerolatte wand working from the bottom of the mug till you reach perfection. Maybe 30 seconds. Then pour the coffee into the center of the foam. Dust with chocolate and cinnamon.
All up – about 4 minutes for two mugs.

this frother is tricky and usually makes a big old mess with any false move…not what i thought it would be!
Best Hot Chocolate & Coffee Stirrer – Brian Gimlet – NJ, USA
I bought this about 1 month ago I use it all day every day to stir my drinks, it is probably the best kitchen gadget I have ever bought. After I use it I just run it under the tap and its clean. I am so glad I got the stainless steel version it is very durable, feels good in your hand and the stand is perfect. I bought this to especially to stir instant powder drinks like coffee, hot chocolate & ice tea I never really tried to froth milk with it. It is pretty powerful and if your not careful the whirlpool it creates will overflow your drink like a blender without a lid. I would recommend it to a friend and will probably buy a few more for Christmas gifts.
Better than steam – Marly – PA
I have a cappuccino maker and the steamed milk is great, but this tool offers an easier and foolproof method of micro-foam that lasts, even if you set your drink aside for a time. And no nozzles to clean! Just run under water right after using, spin it off, done. Only trick is to not have the skim milk too hot or it won’t froth well. You can control the type of foam you like – looser – or stiff as beaten egg whites. The little blade type frothers are useless compared to this design. Fabulous little tool.
Wow, too bad Starbucks – D. Owen – Michigan
Oh my goodness, this is just what I needed to help my Starbucks fix. I no longer need to go there for a latte….Wow, didn’t know it was this easy. If you love latte’s you will love this item. After heating my milk in the microwave for 1 minute I froth with a little splenda and vanilla then add my coffee and froth again just a second. It is wonderful.
